Razzie Awards: il doc su Hillary e Batman v Superman i peggiori film del 2016

Annunciati i vincitori dei Golden Raspberry Awards 2017, comunemente conosciuti come i Razzies, i premi per i peggiori film dell’anno.

I peggiori del 2016

Come ogni anno a precedere la consegna degli Oscar arrivano il giorno prima i Razzie Awards, giunti alla 37a edizione. Sono due i film che si sono spartiti i poco graditi lamponi di quest’anno: Hillary’s America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party e Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Hillary, Batman e Superman

Hillary’s America, docufilm sulla candidata democratica alla presidenza degli Stati Uniti e sulla storia del suo partito, al box office U.S.A. ha incassato ben 13 milioni di dollari, risultando il documentario più visto dell’anno. Diretto e interpretato dal commentatore politico indo-americano Dinesh D’Souza, si è aggiudicato i quattro Razzie principali: peggior film, peggior regia, peggior attore e peggior attrice (Becky Turner). Delle cinque nomination ricevute, l’unica categoria in cui è stato battuto è quella della peggior sceneggiatura, dove si è imposto Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Il mediocre crossover targato DC Comics, campione d’incassi con 873 milioni di dollari raccolti nel mondo, ha portato a casa anche i lamponi per il peggior attore non protagonista (Jesse Eisenberg), per la peggior coppia sullo schermo (Ben Affleck e Henry Cavill), e infine per il peggior prequel, remake, rip-off o sequel.

Gli altri Razzie Awards

Il Razzie per la peggior attrice non protagonista è stato invece assegnato a Kristen Wiig per Zoolander 2, il film che con Batman v Superman aveva ottenuto il maggior numero di nomination, ben otto. Si salvano invece Gods of Egypt, Nonno scatenato e Independence Day: Rigenerazione, che di candidature ne avevano ricevute cinque a testa. Premio Barry L. Bumstead a Conspiracy – La cospirazione, non candidabile nelle altre categorie in quanto non distribuito nei cinema americani e infine premio per la redenzione all’ex reietto di Hollywood Mel Gibson per il suo La battaglia di Hacksaw Ridge.
